Use and download a file manager app. Copy and transfer your save files (from the game) to a safe folder (customed as long as it is away from the folder where game's data folder are in). Then uninstall the former version L.O. and install the updated version of L.O. Copy and transfer your backup save files to the game's folder once more.

The app also cannot reupdate automatically you need to uninstall the predecessor version then install the new one again.
