I get it, and thanks for letting me know. I fixed it a day or so later. The problem came down to Godot not automatically including CSV files in its export. A stupid idea on their part, and as my levels are all written up in CSVs, that broke my game.
I have a working version now, and if you would be up for giving it a try after the jam, I think it's a great little game that hits on your theme perfectly.
For a working father of two, getting something like a game finished in 4 days is really tight. Didn't even have an entire weekend to throw at it, since the jam ended mid day on a Sunday. I think a week would be a more reasonable time frame for something like this.
That's life, though. I learned a lot through all of this. I appreciate the opportunity.
