If you can describe where exactly it occurred, we may be able to address it in a minor update (though to be honest, we have not worked on this game in quite some time, and I don't know when we will get a chance to do so again). In the meantime, if you hold down SHIFT and CONTROL when you press ENTER on the start screen, that will erase your save data and should allow you to start over, which ought to resolve the bug. If you cannot get to the start screen for some reason, you could try searching for the save file (it should be called "10kdsave0.sav") and deleting it manually. Cheers!
