- Yes, the teleportation works that way intentionally and that can help save some time
- You can't grow two plants simultaneously
- Unfortunately, the main problem of the submitted game is a wrong value of a constant that makes it quite difficult to reach the ledges. You're not missing anything, it's our fault (although the timings are possible - you can try to reach at least the right side, the left one is optional)
Speaking of the "why", you're right, that's almost exactly how the game world works.
