Super nice style! The Hollow Knight inspirations are clear as day, of course, and they make for some solid design for environments, audio and characters alike. I like how they combine with the "light" aesthetic of the firefly. The rewind mechanic is a pretty clever idea! There is a point to be made about it being more of a "replay" than a "loop", but it makes for some neat gameplay. Easily my biggest criticism is the Unity thing where moving platforms (your recording, in this case) don't transfer their momentum to the player sitting on them.

I haven't finished the game, but I might revisit it eventually! Nice work so far!

We are thrilled to see you enjoyed it so much. and yes, we struggled a lot with the effect rigid bodies had on movement :(

The character design definitely paid homage to hollow knight, while the level design, movement, environment and mechanic came from Jump King, Ori and the sandevistan from cyberpunk, respectively.
