No idea! Mostly people don't tell me anything about it. The first couple things I ever published I put out this way, and if I was regularly putting out small things I didn't want to charge for, I'd probably keep doing it because why not. But it's all honor system, and yours is probably the first report I've ever heard someone actually donated.
