Interesting puzzle with cool mechanics, I don't know if it was originally thought out, the lower action buttons don't work if you press them while jumping, I think it would be more convenient if you could press them. The graphics are also great.
That's intentional! If you can modify your action loop in midair, it removes the "puzzle" aspect from the game! You have to set it all up before you leave the ground :] Thank you for the review!
