The slits in the walls made for a really unique ambiance! I feel that maybe adding a map that you can add to over time may have been helpful to reduce wandering, and the map could have some impermanence, or be only added to under specific circumstances. However, as is, it's still very fun.

i like the idea of a minimap, but we decided agaisnt it since it wouldnt be confusing enough and easily solved if you knew where you were going. there is an audio cue for when you are going in the right direction but its not clear enough. ill try to change it . thanks for playing

The atmosphere is pretty cool! And the lighting — well done. I hope you'll rate my game too!

I wasn't able to beat it, but I loved the atmosphere and I thought the top-down perspective with 3D walls was neat!

thank you for playing

I enjoyed the use of lighting, and the ambience was well implemented! I wish there was a way to mark what paths I've traveled before though, I went through 4 teleporter things but wasn't able to find any keys.

Developer

we had a mechanic like that but it got too easy to clear the maze. ill try to add it back in later

Lighting, environment, and sound was great! I wish there was a little more gameplay than just wandering around the maze though

Developer

yeah i wish we had a little more too but this is all we could do in the jam duration, thank you for playing

The lighting and sfx were very nice. Gave a nice atmosphere while playing. Though I didnt understand where to go or what to and never beat the game after 10 minutes of wandering around. Giving audio cues on where to go would be cool

There are actually audio cues when you are going in the right direction but i guess it is difficult to hear, i will update the audio. ty for playing

The atmosphere in this game is phenomenal and actually had me on edge. I loved the use of the water sounds and the game really did feel like I was walking in circles. The main piece of feedback would be to include a tutorial because I was kind of aimlessly wandering for a while. Also are their footstep sounds because I was walking and really thought something was running after me? Great submission best of luck. :)

thanks a lot for playing. we spent a lot of time on the sounds. I like the idea of a tutorial since i gave it to one of my friends and he didn't know what to do so definitely will add that but i don't know if it will take away from the unknown feeling of it. also, we didn't add any footstep sounds so i might have to check for a poltergeist.......
