Wasn't sure where to plant my seeds and game doesn't tell me specifically so I was lost some time but got it eventually. Couldn't attack enemies fast enough and died because I don't use mouse lol
For attacking the enemies you aim with mouse and attack with left click, so yes, it requires mouse. For planting seed, we can plant it always after digging, there is a tutorial in the beginning. Thanks for the feedback! :))
