Thank you so much for the kind words! We really appreciate it. For the art, we actually tried something new by procedurally generating all the viruses, which made them more random in appearance. We thought this approach would give a more realistic feel since viruses naturally come in many different shapes and forms. Glad you liked the programming aspect!
