I played your game and as a first Game Jam project, finishing it solo and delivering it on time is already a big achievement. Well done!

Here are a few things I noticed while playing (feel free to take them as feedback too):

  • I liked the core idea, and it fits the Game Jam theme really well, that's a strong point.

  • After two or three levels, the gameplay started to feel a bit repetitive. I think it could become more engaging if the player could enter the fake doors, or if the levels had more depth. For example, entering a “secret” door or adding more layers to each level would make the experience richer.

That said, as I mentioned at the beginning, great job overall. For your next game, don’t forget to playtest often, and always ask yourself:
- Is this level fun?
- Does it introduce a new challenge?

Thank you so much for your feedback. I have a few ideas in my head on how I would like to improve the game, so I will add some modifications when the voting ends. The first modification will be to play the game directly from the itch io site and not have to download anything, next I'll be able to zoom the game to fullscreen and I'd like to add door animations (hopefully that won't be a problem) 😁 Then I have ideas in my head for adding bonus rooms for the "fake" doors. So hopefully I can make the game more fun.
