Sometimes the dump and pray works, I'm not sure yet what the best strategy is, but it seems to be a mix of several since the ticking clock keeps you jumping. As far as the reset button, if you press fast forward a few times, it will end the level, but I probably could have kept the 'self destruct' button active I used for testing.
