This one isn't crappy. $12 is hard to consume on an unknown, so I understand where you're coming from. But as I said in my comment below, I'm glad I spent it. If you only go after AVNs with demos, you are going to miss out on a lot. Besides, A huge portion of them let you choose what to pay. So don't pay anything, and see if you like it. then pay something if you support it. I usually throw at least $5 at these, because the author needs to know their hard work is paying off.
Agreed, the pay anything model is what I tend to go for most over demos. When I launch mine, that's going to be how I do things, but if you want the update sooner you can pay a bit for it. I feel like that is the best way unless there is a high demand for your specific niche like furry porn, which apparently is big enough they can all charge a lot and make the money no issues.
