This "game" feels like something an Arby's cashier tried to put in an order for a roast beef sandwich, but made an "open world story-based game" in their computer. If you want to make this a good and actual game, I have some ideas. First, get rid of any RPG elements. I do not know why someone would want these. Second, make the game first-person instead of top-down so I can see what the heck I am doing.
Third, take certain elements from the game and make them into actual objects I can see in some kind of hotbar.
Finally, turn everything into cubes, make the items craftable, and change the "time loop" into a 20-minute day and night cycle. THEN AND ONLY THEN will I consider this a game instead of a Burger King #5 special in the bathroom.

You understood everything perfectly, I'm surprised no one else picked up on this. Arby's was a HUGE inspiration so its nice to see it mentioned.
