I found 2 more bugs, the first one is that the 'death' animation does not play (sometimes, I can't consistently replicate this one) if you are holding an arrow key and jump when you press e. The second is that you can place and pick up mushrooms while in the death animation, including the one that you made at the start of the animation.

The second one (placing and picking up mushrooms during the death animation) is already fixed!
About the first one, I made some changes to prevent it from happening, so hopefully it won’t show up again. But if it does, feel free to let me know!
