This looks so freakin' awesome, but I'm attempting to use it in DEX mode on a samsung fold4 with a broken inner screen, and it says it's made exclusively for mobile mode, and that makes sense.

However, I would appeal to you to make this awesome app work in desktop mode! IMO, the next big step in computing is going to be android and/or (hopefully one day) mac and linux eating into windows with their desktop modes.

I've been using DEX as my home theatre pc on a fold4, which has a broken inside screen, and it works GREAT hooked up to my tv over the last 7 months. I can seriously see people using their phones as desktop computers in the nearish future and it having a huge impact on the tradition operating system as it is currently understood and utilized.

I can see apple merging macOS and iOS into one seamless operating system and windows extending their new gaming mode to phones. Plug your phone into any monitor to go into a desktop mode. In fact, the monitor can also be the docking station, providing more usb ports and 65W+ power pass through using usbc for video out as well.

This would also probably be a really neat picotron app.

Thank you for such an extended message.
I looked into it, and it is not feasible right now to support resizable windows and second launcher activity, which is needed for DeX. Maybe sometime in the future, if there is a strong demand for it.

As for picotron... While it is a neat and underrated project, calling Trinket a "possible app for picotron" is a little bit strange, because it is not an app, but a direct analogue, just for a real hardware instead of "fantasy" one, as they describe it. So it's much more plausible from a logical and also technical point of view to see one day picotron as a trinket app, than vice versa.

I see what you mean with picotron, with it being virtual, and this app being made for hardware.

I'm kind of hoping they will allow more freedom in developing launchers as android desktop becomes more advanced. This would be amazing with it, although it's also just as awesome in mobile mode. 🚀
