- Despite me having to strain my eyes to be able to see anything (lol), I managed to play your very cute game! :D The art is cute although maybe using a different coloured slime would work better, since green on green can be a little more difficult to see. It's a shame you couldn't add music or sfx, but maybe that's something you will get into in the future and then I'd be happy to experience your next game. :) The theme implementation is done well, using only one jump can be tricky, but you made a fun game out of it! The GDD gives some information into your work process, your interpretation of the theme and other things, but I do wonder why you didn't credit your artist properly. So I think the biggest issue here is the size of the window, everything else is a well done game. Thank you for participating in the game jam and I hope you had fun working on your project. :)

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarize your game!
You play as a tired little slime who just wants to go to bed, but without overdoing it! Every level you only get one jump, so make it count! Your goal is to make it to the right side of the screen, and eventually jump into bed!
The game doesn't end when you get into bed, but hey, it's a cushy ending
Controls:
WASD or Arrow Keys to move
Spacebar to jump
R to reset a stage
Esc to quit the game at any time
Enter to select an option while in a menu
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
You play as one little slime who only wants to go to bed, but without to much effort, so he can only jump once per stage. I wanted to be nice and to the point.

Streamed my play on twitch!
Cute concept and very cute scene transitions / slime animations. Could definitely go for some sfx and music, but thats just how jams go. Would be fun to see other ways you could grow this concept, like fans to "jump lazily" or other interactibles. Great work!

Yeah unfortunately myself and partner-in-art on this aren't musically capable at this point, I would've loved some soft tones to underscore the thing, but decided it best to focus on the gameplay and appearance first and foremost. Thank you so much for the praise and thoughts!
I managed to play this despite the resolution issue, and found it really cute! There isnt much gameplay here, i would consider this game to only have one level - the one with the 3 logs. Everything else has the same solution - jump over the pit
The level is good! But i wanted a lot more. I like how you kinda told a story with the game. i loved the transition effect, and i *think* the art was good? but honestly i couldnt tell.
This feels like a vertical slice - a tiny part of a much longer game. That was the right approach to take - when it comes to jams I prefer small and polished to large and clunky.
That's incredibly high praise! Thank you so much! Resolution in Game maker has been a big learning curve for me so I'm very sorry about that. But I very much appreciate the thoughts and praise!
Great concept, and the transitions are really nice!
Thank you!
