  • A cozy climbing game with tight controls. I liked how fluid the character moved and how tight the wall jumping was, along with the other mechanics it felt like a more exploration based metroidvania. There where times when I didn't know what ability I had until I accidentally used it. You should try adding a ui element to show a use count for the ability or a visual cue on the player character that would help with this issue. Also ran into an issue where it wasn't clear that the first obstacle could be jumped over if you missed the initial high jump. Adding more tutorial example segments and further detailing the notes on abilities could help with learning more advanced navigation. The GDD was short and succinct but missing key art for the mechanics leaving me confused on what the difference between climbing and jumping were. Overall a great experience that has potential. Keep up the good work!

Summarize your game!
An ant is climbing a mountain but she has limited inventory: Only one jump, string and bomb can be carried at a time. Manage your resources well to reach the top.

Please explain how your game fits the theme.
like said before you get only one high jump, string and a bomb can be stored at a time.

I got the three abilities, found a secret crystal... and that's about it. I am stuck .-.
Too bad, the game seems charming, but I feel like it's missing a difficulty progression, or a couple more levels to teach you how to overcome simple obstacles.

I was testing how I can move before reading, so I spent the jump and had to restart the game. It's a nice puzzle to move forward. Jumping to the different screen and not knowing where to land, I wasted the jump again and quit. Looks and sounds cool, controls feel great. I'd need a quick way to restart once I know I messed up (other than reloading the page)

Liked your game, not too easy and not too hard. Fun aesthetic and controls feel tight.
