If you have issues or concerns you can contact support …”

With all due respect, this is laughable advice at best. Your support team is non-existent and doesn’t respond to anything. I have at least one ticket that has gone MONTHS without so much as a “hello” as a response. I’m not alone, either; all it takes is a cursory Google or Reddit search to see this is a long-standing and recurring issue

I get it that you need to release a statement given the ****storm (censored for sensitive readers), but if you want to be taken seriously by customers, then you need to get your house in order. Starting with asking WTF is going on with your support department! And then FIX IT!

It’s been over a month and still waiting on any sort of response to that ticket I mentioned, and no acknowledgment of the issue, not attempt to assuage bad sentiment or attempt at customer service (here or there).

So, again, @leafo, this is why people aren’t happy with you and your company; It’s clear:

The only reason you care to make a statement is the en masse public backlash and financial reasons.

Otherwise, customer care issues don’t matter. You are quite literally leaving money on the table because of this crap;, because your competitors wipe the floor with you based on cusyomer service, ease of use and basic privacy rights. As someone who *wants* to like your conpany, who wants to support alternatives and indies?

That’s frustrating. But you don’t care, do you?
