Hear Hear! As a half UK citizen by birth(I am half American, and live in the USA now tho) it has been very disappointing to hear this too. The prime minister in power right now ("Sir" Keir Starmer) is one of the worst we've ever had, and is directly cooperating with the organization, "ofcom," which was not elected by the people of the United Kingdom, nor are they officially part of the government. On their website they have a video where they claim that, "We are not a censor," which just makes me even more suspicious about it.

I can't speak directly on this, as I've never been anywhere near the UK, but I get the impression Starmer may actually be uniting both sides in their hatred of him, which is rather remarkable in and of itself.

But yes, the government, at this point, has directly accused anyone criticizing the law of being 1. Pedophiles (sorry, "Paedophiles"), 2. Being the equivalent of Jimmy Savile (ie paedophiles) and 3. Wanting children to die. It's the most cliche nonsense ever.

lol, very true. Anytime someone defaults to, " think of teh children! D: " it means they are grasping for some kind of validation,  political or otherwise. Just pathetic.
