RAHHHHHHHHH I LOVE THIS VN I LOVE KEITH AND TENEBRIS SO MUCH!!!!!!!
i first played a few months ago and i finally played the update today and ohhh my god i absolutely adore everything about duality. the writing is smooth, it isn't overdone, it feels just fleshed out enough for where we're at in the story. and the lore?? the mystery of what in the hell is happening???? what's Going to happen? all of it is incredibly interesting and engaging. there wasn't a minute during gameplay that i didn't catch onto a particular detail and overthink it to hell, and that's a really special thing. i love that i'm not just breezing through this vn, i'm sitting with it, thinking up possible answers or crackpot theories, and it's so much fun.
but god keith and tenebris, their dynamic together and their dynamic seperate from each other, alone with you, all of it is so incredibly done. i love that this vn makes me stop and think several times, wondering how keith or tenebris feel about a particular action while the other is out. how they're feeling during tender moments that they're not apart of, but they are forced to bare witness to. it really kinda fucks me up and i love it. i just really, really love how sad it all is above all.
i adore the way their loneliness is written to seem so real for their characters, who they are as people and how that loneliness is So devastatingly chronic. they both need some lovins STAT.
