i enjoyed this game a lot. my partner mentioned it, and i decided to give it a shot and i would 100% pay for this game if or when it becomes a full one. it has so much potential to be amazing, cozy, and super enjoyable.
i personally did not experience any bugs or glitches.
what i liked:
- first, i love the sound of the fabric cutting and the sewing machine.
- I also think the patterned fabrics are super cute.
- The skirt and bodice options are simple and cute, and i hope there will be more to come.
- the artwork for the main area where you select the book, fabric, and mannequin.
what i think can be improved:
- for starters, the fabric. i was unaware i could change what fabric i was using until halfway through the second dress. it would be a lot nicer if there was a clear indicator that you can change fabrics, or, a menu for it.
things id love to see in the future:
- more customization like buttons, lace, ribbons, zippers, etc.
- more customer critics and/or praise
- customization of the background where the mannequin is, like wallpapers, pictures, etc.
- customization of the players glove/hand while sewing
- all of your past dress designs for commissions being stored in the sketchbook. it would be really cool to be able to look back and see old designs
- the bodice, skirts, collars, and sleeves having more of a category, sort of like the fabric. for example, the frilly collar being cute, or the pencil skirt being daywear, or anything to say if they're elegant, work appropriate, etc.
- hard or super picky customers! it would be super fun to throw in a harder challenge with customers who are super picky, just like real life.
- maybe a chance for customers to leave tips.
- option to make dresses shorter or longer
overall, this game was incredibly enjoyable for the little there is available to play. i highly look forward to more updates and progress and hope the developers have a smooth time creating and updating this game! <3
