Okay. I've looked at the other games. I've played them. And after doing that, I have come to the shocking conclusion that my game is terrible, and I don't have a chance at this. All the other games are really good and really well built. My game? Ha! It has a few things thrown together and a custom mouse cursor. THAT'S IT! My game doesn't even LOOK good. I expected this though, so it's alright.

I'm not sure this is the right place for self-loathing. Participating in a game jam isn't just about winning, it should be about making a game as best you can

your one doesn't suck, you just think you suck. though my game is good. I feel it is bad. I feel that I can't make a puzzle platformer right. But your game no matter how good it is. It still has some potential.

If you were happy with what you made before comparing yourself to everyone one, then you should be proud for what you have done. Take the steps to learn and grow to make a better game later. Keep learning and growing, then you will have a great contending game.

Man, look at it from this angle. You're game would've been alot worse if you didn't try. Because there wouldn't be a game. So don't worry about how good you make games right now. Imagine how good you'll make games in the future.
