  • Gameplay What an interesting game! I had a blast playing it. I think this game is a fun way to learn typing fast. Love the gamejam theme implementation. I admire you for the big library of only the left-hand words. I played for some time and didn't see a repeat. Down the line, adding more types of enemies. Maybe you need to shield yourself to defeat them. Or you could add an exploding barrel that would help you defeat multiple enemies at once. GDD GDD is well written and has all the essential parts. I love that you have a plan where you want to take your game in the future. Art The art adds a horror vibe to the game. The enemies are a bit in the dark and hard to see. I would recommend using a slightly different color palette for them so that they would stand out more. Overall, this is a solid gamejam entry. I liked how the difficulty slowly ramps up. Keep up the good work.

Yes!

Summarize your game!
Typing-of-the-Dead-like infinite arcade game with supernatural horror vibes.

Please explain how your game fits the theme.
You're literally using ONLY ONE hand to shoot. The mouse aims and navigates menus for player convenience but all the typed words use the left hand (please note the name of my game)

Clever game and I like the take on the theme! Game gets really crazy pretty quick. I like the idea of being able to train my typing speed/dex with just one hand. Could be an interesting thing to be able to use the other hand.

Really love the idea of using just one hand to play. It's super clever and makes it challenging in unique way.

I saw in the GDD that the aiming was added on purpose to increase the challenge, which makes sense. Still, just as a thought, having an option where it auto-attacks the nearest enemy could be interesting for a more casual/accessible mode, and keep it more in theme with using only one hand.

A left or right handed option could also be a nice touch for accessibility.

If you decided to lean into an educational angle, this idead could make a fun game for helping people improve their typing speed.

I find the level a bit dark, so I cannot actually see the details of incoming enemies.

Overall, this is an awesome idea and genuinely fun to play. Great work!
