Technically the entire Hulderotica run is standalone components of a serialized/anthology format with a very large ensemble cast, so characters do crop up again. Bryony and Stheno show up a second time in #14: The Saw-Toothed Solution, albeit briefly, partly to catch up with where those characters are and partly to set some stuff up for later. And they'll be back again. :)
