Please, do not change your story!

Even if you have to pause, don’t change the story of your visual novel. Large companies do not have to put pressure on creators: it is thanks to small creators that Itch.io can work, if independent creators can run a company then they can also make it stop as far as possible. The freedom to create is essential: don’t bow to them! The most certain thing for you would be to create your website. Even if it takes time, you will be free to create as you want.

Thank you for everything you offer us! We are all with you!

Same here, I really didn’t want to do it either. I actually cried a bit while making the changes (angry tears ofc) cuz why do I have to alter my story and vision just to get the project seen???

Since the whole ban thing started, I haven’t worked on anything else for CA, and unfortunately, I’ve fallen off the schedule I had planned. But when it rains, it pours, so I’m trying to avoid making any impulsive decisions about the storyline. The current non-sexual version is just a temporary fix. For the full release, I’m considering an NSFW patch/DLC so I never have to deal with this kind of hassle again.

Setting up a website is tricky since I don’t have experience, plus some platforms don’t allow NSFW content and others require payment. So I’m hesitant to dive into that just yet. Maybe a Ko-fi or Patreon could work, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get there. For now, my main goal is just to get CA relisted T~T

P.S. I really appreciate you caring so much about our project, it made me so happy to read your comment! <3
