This is very considerate of you. It is not very often that you see a bunch of folk's working to improve others approach to game development via offering resources and hands on teaching. This is great and I applaud you for it. For this particular reason you can count me in!

However i do have a question about the mega jam.

Why do you have 3 themes and 3 sub categories for each theme. Can you explain this for me?

Hello, Thank you for your kind words, we do try our best to cater towards everyone.

To answer your question I would first like to thank you for taking the time to ask a question and join the jam.
The  " Mega Byte Jam " Has 3 Themes and 3 Sub themes for 1 purpose  :  Catering to everyone. Some people are good at making horror games where others are good at making fantasy games  or cozy games. Based on the jams voting criteria picking one game to take on home gives us a variety of games to play and a tougher judging stand point taking into consideration that every game is going to be hugely different. Which also makes it easier to select who the winners will be. The reason that this will make it easier is it really happens to work with the system of who polished there game the most, Who's mechanics were nicer, Who really put the time in. This will be a joint voting decision between the judging team in the drop bear community discord. There will be no favoritism. Just a game that excelled most out of all of them purely based on the hard work and dedication that we can feel with said game. I hope that covered your question. If you have any more questions do not be afraid to ask. Thank you!

Thanks for your speedy reply this makes absolute sense at first i felt intimidated by the 3 themes and 3 sub categories but now that i know what you plan to do with them i think i will join this one also. thanks
