This game is a simple platformer with a spooky twist! I like the overlay that shows the hidden undertones of the player and enemies. There are some good ideas for platforming obstacles here such as the wheel. I think that the jump height was just right for platforming - but adding a bit of a slide once the player hits the ground could make for some more challenge. Also, some platforms were offscreen which made it hard to guess where to jump. Nonetheless for a first jam game you're doing great, and I hope you hone those platforming skills for even spookier games in the future!
