Turn on cpu overclock in dolphins advanced settings. That prevents in game frame drops. I have no idea how to make the emulation actually faster though. Pikmin 1 is severely unoptimized unlike Pikmin 2. I swear the game was meant to ship at 60fps at one point but at some point they changed it to 30fps because of too much frame lag. I swear you can tell this is true because old demo footage ran at 60fps and the exe debugger runs at 60fps. Uhhh... My point is an already unoptimized game rendering at 4x capacity is not going to have a good time.
