Hello there, I like this, it's nice. I really didn't know anything about the planned PvZ RPG so seeing this is really cool.
Here's some suggestions and improvements based on what I've found:
- I'd like an audio cue or a visual cue telling me to reload, because I tend to not realize that I have ran out especially when I'm trying to dodge all the Zombies.
- HP bars for the Zombies would be nice too.
- I a better confirmation sound of me hitting a Zombie for sunflower's beam. Although I will acknowledge that maybe I just personally have a hard time registering if I'm hitting anyone with my F beam as her.
- Make Sunflower's E push back a bit further, as a zoning tool, it is not that good. It's a good damage spam, but it's not the purpose. Make it zone harder.
- A better secondary fire for Sunflower, very unsubstantial and the same as her F beam
- Less cooldown on Peashooter's dash ability. I personally feel like if the goal of the game is to be in multi-player, I think in order to add incentive to running Sunflower is to keep the heals exclusive to her, but in order to make Peashooter at least survive longer, make the dash cooldown near instant, maybe like Rogue from Soul Knight.
- Make Peashooter's dash go through enemies and make it so that Peashooter could dash while in ult. Overall, I feel like Peashooter's identity should be more of an agile ranger/rogue.
- Replace Peashooter's E with something more substantial. I personally just don't find any use for it. Maybe make it a small time-bomb or something like a grenade. Or if you'd like to keep the bouncy Pea idea, make it so that it's a maybe 3 to 5 second buff where all of your peas become bouncy. Makes it more useful than 1 bouncy Pea.
As for future addition suggestions here's what I got (Also some personal things I'd like to see):
- Focus on the Orignal Pvz 1 plants first. We need justice for them. And better than trying to add everything from PvZ 2
- I saw the Walnut Post, his current moveset is nice, but I'd suggest give him more utility other than survivability. Make his secondary shield larger, enough to cover 1 ally each side. And maybe make it so that he has a semi thorns passive, just like the peanut allergy easter egg in PvZ 1. Make Explode-o-nut deal a bit more damage, as of what I see it's kind of like a zoning tool, which I don't think it should be, it's probably in the realm of crowd control. Make ground pound his zoning skill. And then I guess make Iron Maiden his ultimate and then add a different utility skill in that slot. Make his identity a utility tank than just a damage sponge
- Skill trees/Different subclasses/Paths for each plants. This would be nice as you'd be able to play all the plants in different ways, maybe have a Peashooter as either the aforementioned agile ranger/rogue, but then you could also play him as a trick shooter, something like that.
- I have an idea for Torchwood being a buff support, specifically a damage buff support.
Overall, so much potential, I like PvZ and I like RPGs so seeing this makes me care for it a lot, I'm happy to see where this project would good and I'd like to be able to help out along the way just by testing and giving random ideas, I hope for the best. Goodluck and break a leg!!
