You've fallen into a pattern a lot of Visual Novel type devs fall into, where in order for your plot to continue in the direction you plan, you end up creating a section of the story that is nothing but unrelenting torrents of garbage happening to the main character. The Criminal Mastermind is Totally Untouchable Everyone in Town Works for Him He Commits Blatant Crimes In Public and Nobody Says Shit And Characters Who Were Previously Unbeaten in Fights and the Main Character start Losing to Fucking Netoru.
I imagine, particularly in the pornographic game sphere, there are players who are looking for this sort of masochistic 'you can do nothing but suffer and nothing you do makes a difference' experience, but I'm not one of them.
