I know you think you're helping, but you're doing more harm than good. I happen to agree that Kael doesn't owe anyone an update or explanation for any delays. I also think that anyone who is upset about the lack of updates is justified in feeling so.

But the number of people voicing displeasure about the updates is still very much a tiny minority. Most people are simply quietly waiting, because this is the nature of VNs.

I just want you to think about how a toxic argument like the one you have started could  drive off potential new readers who might take one look at this comment section trying to find help in understanding how to read the story in its current state, and leave because the commenters are being very unpleasant and cruel to eachother.

THIS.

I agree that indie devs owe nothing to thr anyone, but that doesn't mean that there won't be any consequences. When you deal with the public, there are expectations to be had, a relationship between author and the public, public places it's trust into an author and author places it's trust into it's audience. This is a two-way street and while yes, Kael as an author is free to do whatever he wants (I agree), that's doesn't mean that he should. That doesn't mean that some people won't be upset about it, and I'm really, really sorry for being said person, but I found current situation very displeasing.
