Hi, so, I really like this game. the characters are great, the scenes are great, and theres lines that legitimately hit me in the feels. I can see why its taken so long, and I'm impressed at your dedication. But theres one thing I dont get. What sort of time period is this supposed to be? It seems largely medieval, even with things like 'tinkerer' as a job, but then we have things like this.

Thats an outlet. I think there might be another one, but that could be a lightswitch.

Is this supposed to be a medieval/modern mix? Or is this just because Lucy is living in the house?

lol good catch most devs will use stock empty rooms and add beds and other items to make a screen there own. If you look at other games before AI was used many have the same buildings and interior designs. If you try creating new buildings and interior rooms that is a very time consuming job. A single room with out anything in it could take 2-6hours to make to get the right size, colors of flooring and walls then the light fixtures itself could take a hour to craft. If you want you can download for free Daz3d or Blender and test your own hand in creating scenes. There’s many devs that are self taught by trial and error.

Hello. First of all, that particular room is going to be reworked.

But, now that we're talking about the theme... There isn't much information about what time period the game takes place in. There is no specific time period; it's completely different to what we consider our world.

It’s a blend of medieval and modern elements. You have witches and magic, along with quantum stuff and sci-fi features, all working together.

In the case of lights, a light switch EXISTS and actually turns the light on without any cable. It uses some entanglement technology that the Tinkerers can do with certain crystals.

And, yes! Since Lucy specifically lives in that house, there are plenty of light switches, lanterns, and lights. She's the one in charge of coding the crystals, making the entanglement work, and changing the "batteries" from time to time.

The OUTLET is a mistake. There are no cables, so you won't see more outlets out there, hopefully!

Thanks! I don't mean this observation as a critiscism, to be clear. And it makes sense that the time period doesn't map perfectly. But I hadn't seen any cables, despite not questioning lamp posts and such-I had guessed it was candles or something. I'm also glad I was correct about the extra tech due to Lucy being in the house! I do remember that our first house didn't have quite as much, although we didn't see all of it. Regardless, thanks for the clarification!

Also, I don't recognize that image...a glimpse of whats yet to come, or something new? Either way, sweet! I love the lil crystal in the light bulb!

What I've shown is an unreleased image, or teaser, giving a little hint of what I mean by what I said! It appears in one of the events of the girls. It is just to show you.

It’s basically Lucy doing some coding, so you can kinda get an idea of what I'm talking about. No wires, only little crystals, and yes, they are the ones producing light!
