I apologize for the long comment it is a full story, I feel that I need to express myself 😭
Made an account on itch just to comment, my ex-boyfriend made me watch him play this game yesterday, I started crying pretty soon into watching him play probably right at the part where her limbs were all stumps. He kept playing anyway, and kept looking over at me with weird ass expressions, watching my reactions is what I’ve concluded he was doing.
I didn’t just walk away because I was fawning… something I tend to do around people I love even if they are not being the best people, Not soon AT ALL after finishing the game, he brought up sexual role play, so I IMMEDIATELY knew what he was on about. It was so obvious and so freaky-so I laughed it off while literally wiping tears from my face, but he was starting to pressure me a lot “just for fun to try”
(we’d NEVER even done ANYTHING sexual together prior besides kisses on the cheek and forehead really, and he knew I was really really sensitive about that kind of thing because of something that happened to me when I was younger, and he knows as well from me crying at the game that I don’t like mutilation and torture and gore and sexual abuse or whatever. It freaks me out BAD)
So, when he kept bringing it up as it got later and later, I figured out in the end he was interested in doing really terrible, terrible things to me—or pretending to, for example things that happened in the game; he also admitted it. so… this game helped me to find out that he was not such a great guy after all (no kink shaming…but he was saying the most disgusting, DISGUSTING! and horrible things to me later on even after I was like begging him to stop, and telling him I was uncomfortable with it, it was late so I didn’t want to drive home either and I could never yell at him.)
When I decided to talk to him about it last night, he was suddenly uninterested in being my boyfriend for any longer. Thankyou ❤️
(Also the game was really fucking well made because it really did its job that’s what I can say about it… I’m not even usually such a scaredy cat, but…here we are ❤️🩹
