Neat concept with having a step count as time left. The only thing that bothered me was the controls. Unless I missed sth, you have to ckick on the fields you want to move to. I get it that arrows could be tricky with the diagonal movement, but you could place some graphic in the corner telling player which arrow (or WASD) moves where.
Overall, I enjoyed it, fun game
