Are you sure you're on Chapter 1? (Because Chapter 1/2 are the shortest chapters as it was mostly a test to see if anyone would read it, every time guild quests reset is a new chapter.)

Beside knowing that the quests/options to do stuff resets, hard to tell. You're in chapter 3 though!
