I'm glad to see a developer removing features from their game that detract from the experience. It's quite refreshing. Quite frankly, it's a great sign of humility and maturity. I will always praise a creator who is willing to do this. Keep up the good work.

Thanks.  It wasn't an easy decision.  I did poll my patrons, and most wanted to keep the shower system.  So originally I decided to keep it.  But I suspect we just like it because we were used to the system.

I'm finding out, that with my style of visual novel dev, stat systems/mini-games detract from the core experience, which is hand drawn animated sex scenes and character driven story.

The mini game on the phone was kind of interesting, but the payout wasn't fun enough, and it was pretty disconnected from the rest of the story.  I was going to connect it to millhouses route, but it still wasn't fun enough to belong with everything else, so I ruthlessly cut it.

You have no idea how encouraging it is to hear that. Too many developers waste their time implementing dumb mini-games into their games that are nothing but mindless busy work that isn't fun or engaging. Too many of them forget they are making a porn game. I just want to grab these people and say, "For the love of God, put the porn in the bag, sir."

Agreed!
