Man... Lynnie is such a tough character to swallow. The dynamic between the two is biting, in the rip-your-flesh-off kind of way; it hurts to see Mel treated that way, but of all the things Lynnie might be deserving of, betrayal isn't one. I had a pit in my stomach during the transformation scene, wondering if there was going to be some real assumption of responsibility, a come to Jesus moment. Well...
It's incredibly hard to articulate this feeling, but the overall affect in the prose and the art come together perfectly. Every element gels into one cohesive work. I greatly enjoyed this, thanks for sharing.
