Just finished playing Driving Home and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It starts off feeling so normal — just a quiet late-night drive — and then slowly builds tension in a really effective way. The pacing was great for a short horror game, and that moment when things start to go wrong genuinely caught me off guard.
The environment was simple but immersive, and the subtle sound design added a lot to the creepiness without trying too hard. I love how it leans into that familiar fear of being stranded at night with no help in sight.
For a short indie horror game, this absolutely delivered what I was hoping for — eerie, immersive, and unsettling in the best way. Great job!
