Hi JBG

I am looking for a composer for my game projects. Do you have experience with XM modules or  tracker music (e.g. openmpt) ?

Regards,

Frank B.

im not sure what that means, if you can elaborate please?

tracker music evolved in the era of 8 bit computing. providing a simple and very compact way to represent music as sound samples.

this style is perfect to represent retro chiptunes.

so i use Fl studio, but i can definitely try to replicate it, give me a contact like Discord or something and ill send you like a demo and you tell me if you like it. how does that sound?

I need to game to be as small as possible to run in the browser efficiently.
XM modules files  are really tiny. If there is alternative for which I can find both small music files and a C++ library that integrates easily then I could consider switching  over. Small in this context means under 100kb.

I think MIDI can also achieve pretty small file sizes not sure about legal woes of  instrument samples though.
