loved the art, loved the music, loved the characters, loved the story, loved the SUPER LAME jokes. This was a great VN all around. Came for the silly, stayed for the charming characters and left with a shaken heart after those really heavy endings. i enjoyed the main characters both in design (im a sucker for robots) and writing, they are a lot deeper than they appear at a first glance. the story felt like a fun slice of life anime; it doesnt have a big plot but it does slowly tell you more and more about the characters. it feels lighthearted for the most part, but the lingering feeling of something brewing behind insists until the end. and by that point, you're aware of why the characters would do the things they do.
i cant discuss the endinds so to not spoil them for everyone else, but i do want to say the order in which you read them can greatly affect how you interpret the conclusion. i accidentally stumbled into what i consider the perfect reading order but ive seen someone else have a very different experience after using a different one and realize things werent as they thought when i shared my perspective. So for anyone reading, i suggest you go through the endings like this: bad>good>true
going back a bit, the resolution was SO GOOD. the way you understood the dynamics of an abusive relationship was amazing. ngl i was wondering why this game was part of this jam almost until the end and then, anwser slapped me in the face. now Daisy has become one of my favorite characters ever! thanks for creating this!
PS:
my only observation about the gameplay is that the pizza minigame would work really well to sneakily teach players about how to get items. it's not really a problem since the game is short and you can just go back and get all the items, but both the rice and the rice minigames have no hints about what you can do with the stuff on screen. meanwhile, you are almost guaranteed to get an item by accident with the pizza minigame. You cant probably put it first cuz it would affect the story but a possible solution i can think is putting the "cam" right above the recycling bin in the rice minigame, that could catch people "by accident" and teach them about the items.
