I couldn't help myself and read the entirety of Melt in one sitting.

I enjoyed it a great deal and the tension felt just right throughout the novel. The music and sfx that accompanied the reading never felt distracting or annoying, but enhanced the reading experience altogether. Considering the game was made in such a short time, it's honestly stellar. If you have the mind to expand upon it, including an intro to set the stakes of the binding pact could be really impactful for us readers, I imagine!

If there is one detail I must scrutinize, it is the fact that we did not get a scene involving tail-pulling, which must be noted as a most delightful trope of the genre. Else, I am tremendously satisfied with the product. :)

That's a good point about better introducing the binding, I think that could have been helpful. There aren't plans to continue or especially revise this; the 1.1 and 1.2 patches were just fixing things that should have been there the whole time. But this feedback is definitely something to keep in mind if we do, and to consider for the next thing I write.

Also oh my goodness you're right how did I overlook the need for a tail pulling scene? My status as a rank amateur finally shows through...! But in seriousness, I'm glad you liked it!
