I'm totally with you on that — it's our first game jam and we definitely lacked proper playtesting with people who didn't already know about the fifth image. I think we could’ve solved that pretty easily with a small line of dialogue, like the character saying "Hmm… where did I leave the fifth image?" after checking the first four. That would've helped guide the player more naturally.
