Maddy really is just...the worst. Just some little asshole given a modicum of power and doing whatever she wants with it! It feels terrifying to have your life in her hands. And then Sam and Emma's apathy, treating it like an inconvenience rather than something that was ruining lives, with Sam even getting on your case if you stand up for yourself...it's so painful to engage with.
