I think I found the solution. so, I originally played it on my external hard drive, and it worked then it suddenly didn't. So, then I switched it to my main hard drive and now it works.
Had this happen myself. It's a problem with files getting misplaced between storage locations. I had to make sure that my extracted files went to the same location as the initial download. Otherwise the app and the "run" file end up separate.
