very relevant Ironsworn conversion to Harry Potter’s universe I play Ironsworn for years now and I wanted to use the system to play it in Hogwards with my wife in cooperation. I tried PBTA versions but I havé Never been completely comfortable with them. I found them too restrictive.

with this version the transition is really smooth beetweem Iromsworn and this game. It’s natural whereas this is not only a simple new skins for Ironsworn. There is new rules that either fit very well to IS spirit and bring this HP vibes.

The management of times and academics is very well done as the spell mechanics. I appreciate that a character can have learned a spell out of screen with “know something” it removed this urged of farming spell that I had in PBTA’s system and allow to focus more on the narrative than to farm spell to not being blocked by the lack of possibility, but it’s still balanced

the only con I would have is that I would have liked a NPC sheet. Nothing serious.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Somehow I got disconnected from itch.io during the summer and didn't get a notification.
I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed Hogsworn!

I've had ideas for future updates, mostly after finally playing Starforged, I think the way it deals with relationships would be a great fit for Hogsworn. I'm not sure when I'll have time for a major update, but it will come, probably with new assets too (if you have any asset ideas, I'd love to hear them!).

As for an NPC sheet, did you have something in mind? Do you mean a place to write down stuff about NPCs you meet?

I think something close to the starforged relationship sheet but with a HO design would be good for relationship.

but the thing I was thinking more is that we struggle with my wife to follow all NPCs implied in the intrigue and the different clues we found. That’s playing to Hogsworn that I realized that HP is finally a polar Roman with fantastic theme.

May be a sheet with :

- mysteries

- NPC implied

- Clues

If I make homebrew asset I would advise you. For the moment we did not have a lot of XP we play slowly so existing asset were fine.

PS : If you put the game in pay what you want we would gladly make a little donation for the game :)

edit : may be you could do asset for magical species like gnomish, half-giant or Veela. May be also for adult wizards for this who would want to play after Hogward.

Thanks for the ideas, I'll try to create extra sheets once I have a bit of spare time.

I did have similar ideas for more "innate" assets. For adulthood, maybe I could make assets for the different wizarding world professions.

I'm glad you and your wife are enjoying the game together, I should try and convince my wife to try it out with me too haha.

I don't think I can accept money for the game due to copyright issues, but I really appreciate the sentiment.
