Having powerups be determined by your positioning is a really cool idea. Frankly I'm surprised this is the first time I've seen it in a shmup, it seems so obvious now! I loved this. It felt good, the patterns were just challenging enough without being Touhou difficult, and the music was so good. My only desire: a speed powerup! (maybe there is one and it just never showed up)
