You can still avoid cucking in part 2. The choice is made on part 1 when she ask about how MC feels about Saul and her. Then you can play the boat part with only the MC (and missing a lot of scene since the game is made for wife sharing lovers).
I have no qualms with the swinging and sharing. I just don't like Saul. It kind of feels like he's forced on you if you want to do anything non-vanilla in game. The scene with Saul and Lisa in front of Gypsy seems to happen even if you chose not to be ok with the two of them in the first part.
Hmm, it shouldn't happen. That scene should play with Saul and Nella if you didn't accept him. Maybe due to the bug that corrupted saves in the first version of the previous update (6). I'll give a look before next update :-)
I just did a test run starting from the Part 2 quickstart — and successfully avoided the scenes with Saul. 🙂 Don’t forget to let Carter know you’re totally sure Lisa isn’t sneaking around with Saul behind your back. 😉
The first time it happened to me it was a transition to part 2 from part 1 without doing the initial interview, so it probably was the bug you were referring to.
Consider my objections withdrawn about part 2. I will recommend this game to NTS players.
