honestly like the way that william is portrayed in this story
instead of being the obvious "big bad", he's just a morally objectionable guy who likes money and building shit
I'd considered making him more traditionally evil, but I thought it was better to just make him kind of a weirdo instead. Besides, if he'd actually murdered people to make the animatronics, that would mean that the protagonist spent seven nights flirting with the souls of dead children, and I want absolutely nothing to do with writing that, lol.
