There is already, though? Just plug in a controller to an open USB port, and it'll work

I mean, it definitely has it (take it from someone who exclusively plays on controller). Maybe it just has trouble recognizing certain controllers, or maybe there's a problem with yours?

Huh..... I..... have no idea what could be going on, then

my brother in christ the dude you're replying too just said he plays on controller, as well as other people in other replies. just cuz YOU dont know what the issue is doesn't mean everyone else is have said issue. use your brain a lil lol

Yeah, a lack of controller support isn't an issue since, as I've stated in this very thread, I can confirm the game supports controllers (I use one with 0 issues and, I'm fairly certain Choctopus himself does, too)

My guy, it literally does. Dunno what's going on that's stopping your controller from working, but that doesn't change the fact the game DOES have controller support. Maybe try another controller or smth?

I think what's happening is the game has XInput support, while DS4s use DirectInput which is technically legacy/deprecated nowadays. You could run it through Steam by adding each new patch as a non-Steam game (bottom-left of Library screen) which should auto-convert inputs like it does for full Steam games, or there's third-party input mappers/wrappers out there. I don't have any dualshocks to test but my RetroBit Saturn pad can switch from XInput to DirectInput mode and the game only likes XInput (I also had to set the d-pad to left thumbstick mode for diagonal inputs, but that looks to be specific to this pad)
